Upon Arrival
Action Car Rental service in Orlando is provided in cooperation with NU Car Rental. Upon arrival, please call 407-240-2700 for our courtesy shuttle. After collecting your luggage, please meet us at our assigned pick-up spaces. For Terminals A and B, head to ground transportation on the 1st level. Our bus will pick you up at space A11 or B11. For Terminal C, head to ground transportation on the 1st level. Our bus will pick you up at space C274. Reserved vehicles not prepaid will be held for 2 hours during office hours. Prepaid vehicles are held until closing. A reservation reinstatement fee of $5.00 to $25.00 USD per day will apply for late arrivals. Vehicles may not leave Florida. Customer agrees to pay a No-Show charge on the credit card used for the reservation if not canceled 48 hours (about 2 days) in advance.
Insurance
Liability insurance is required when driving in Florida. Please bring proof of liability insurance valid in Florida during your rental period. If you do not have proof of liability insurance, SLI-Supplemental Liability Insurance is available at $15.88 per day. The renter is responsible for all damage to our vehicle. Proof of valid insurance (Declarations page) is required for renters who wish to decline our CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) (Damage Waiver). Drivers unable to provide valid proof of current insurance transferable to the car rental must purchase CDW. CDW is $24.99 per day plus tax for economy through full size and $29.99 per day plus tax for vans and SUVs. Deductible is $1000.00. Renters using a debit card or splitting payment will be required to purchase the Debit Card fee at $9.99 per day. We also offer PDW (Partial Damage Waiver), which covers your deductible of $500.00.
Special Equipment
We offer the following equipment for rental:
Child Seat: $12.99 per day (please specify infant, toddler, or booster).
GPS system: $14.99 per day.
Prepay Tolls: $14.99 per day. Administrative fee for toll violations is $35.00 per day.
Quantities may be limited, and equipment can be requested at the rental counter. All fees are taxable.
Fuel
Fuel is not included in the rate. All cars are provided with fuel and should be returned with the same amount of fuel as received to avoid a locally determined refueling charge. We do offer prepaid fuel options for our customers' convenience. Please ask our rental agent at the time of rental. Credit is not issued for unused fuel.
Return Location
Vehicle must be returned to the same rental location.
Geographic Restrictions
Our rental cars are not allowed outside of the State of Florida. If you take our rental vehicle out of the state of Florida, you may be charged up to a $1000.00 USD fee and $0.75 USD for all miles driven out of state. It is forbidden to take the vehicle on any kind of boat, ferry, train, lorry, or airplane without written permission. Please note that most Florida tolls are electronic, so you may not be able to pay with credit or cash, and it is difficult to avoid them. You may purchase a prepaid toll pass at $14.99 USD per day at the rental counter. This fee applies for the duration of the rental. If you decline the Toll Pass, an admin fee of $35.00 USD will apply to each toll violation. Toll transponders may not be removed from our vehicle. Removal will result in a $450.00 USD penalty. Please note that you may not use your own transponder.
Driver Qualifications
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid photo driver’s license from the state/country of residence at the time of rental. If the driver’s license is in a language other than English, an International Driver's Permit is recommended. Underage drivers aged 18-25 will incur a fee of $20.00 per day. Additional drivers must meet the same qualifications as the primary driver, and the additional driver fee is $9.99 per day. All fees are taxable. Please note that we do not rent to local residents.
Credit Card Guarantees
If you reserved a pay-on-arrival rental, a credit card guarantee is required to reserve a vehicle. This credit card will be validated at the time of reservation and may show a $1.00 USD temporary authorization on your credit card statement. However, no actual guaranteed fee will be incurred unless the customer is a no-show; in which case, a no-show fee equivalent to a one-day rental or a minimum of $50.00 USD will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee. If your plans change, you can avoid this fee by canceling your reservation through the same site on which you made your reservation at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time.
If you reserve a prepaid (pay-now) reservation, you will be charged a booking fee equivalent to the total charges of your reservation. The credit card used for prepayment MUST be presented at the rental counter at the time of pick-up. This is a non-refundable reservation and may not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled, your reservation will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund or a credit.
Inclusive Rate Pkg.
If you purchase an Inclusive Rate Package, please note that Collision and Theft waivers, Taxes, and Fees are included in your rate. However, you will still be responsible for any coverage excess as listed under Insurance or Damage Waiver.
Not included in your rate are fuel, the Underage Drivers Fee, the Additional Drivers Fee, and special equipment such as baby seats, GPS, or cell phones, any additional coverage, or any other options. SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance) is included in the prepaid package.
Credit & Debit Card Policy
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. However, please note that debit cards are not accepted from Florida residents. If you do not plan to use a credit card after completing your reservation, please contact Action Car Rental for approval at 407-240-2700. A qualification screening is required, and additional restrictions may apply. Renters using a debit card are required to purchase the Debit Card fee at $9.99 USD per day.
A security deposit will be taken on all rentals until the vehicle is returned on time with no damage. The deposit amount depends on the terms of the rental. For out-of-state renters, the deposit can be up to $1000.00 USD.
Legal Notice
Action Car Rental provides a car rental affiliate reservation system and acts as an agent for the convenience of you, the customer, and the locally owned and operated car rental firm. We make reasonable commercial efforts to ensure the accuracy of all information posted on our website or distributed to other websites. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. The terms, conditions, and prevailing law covering the rental shall be those stated on the rental contract presented at the actual rental location.
